Wild boy  is an installation that utilises sculpture, animation and a pop song.

Inspired by the story of "The Wild Boy of Aveyron", this work draws on the yearning and sense of loss that is the hallmark of a good pop song, and exaggerates this sentiment by means of personifying the singer as an accompanying animated singing head. This head, without a body and presumably also without a soul, is all the more tragic for its Frankensteinian predicament, of being “brought to life”  (via animation and song) without history, purpose or consent.
